'Picture a Scientist' Screening and Panel Discussion at SU
SALISBURY, MD---In honor of National Women’s History Month, Salisbury University hosts a screening of the documentary Picture a Scientist, followed by a panel discussion, 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 16 in Conway Hall Room 156.
The film chronicles the groundswell of researchers writing a new chapter for women scientists. Drs. Karen Olmstead, SU provost and vice president of academic affairs, and Kara French, associate professor of history, lead the discussion.
Sponsored by the Fulton Public Humanities program, admission is free and the public is invited.
Visitors to the SU campus are required to wear a KN95 mask while indoors, regardless of vaccination status. Visitors may be asked to leave an event for non-compliance.
Those planning to park on campus must register in advance for a free parking pass from the parking services office.
