SU Hosts 'Jeronimo' Screening April 26
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University hosts a screening of Jeronimo as part of the Fulton Public Humanities Program 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, in Conway Hall Room 152.
From Korean-American lawyer-turned-filmmaker Joseph Juhn, Jeronimo is a documentary focused on Jeronimo Lim Kim, who was born in Cuba to Korean parents and joined the Cuban Revolution with classmate Fidel Castro. The film looks at the large Korean population in Cuba and its struggle with that identity.
The documentary has been accepted to 18 film festivals around the world and opened in theatres in Korea in November 2019, receiving one of the highest audience ratings that year.
Admission is free and the public is invited.
