Kerouac Festival Director Speaks at SU April 20
SALISBURY, MD---Marcos de la Fuente, director of the international Kerouac Festival, discusses his work as a cultural promoter and poet during his presentation “Poetryfighters” 7 p.m. Thursday, April 20, in Room 152 of Salisbury University’s Conway Hall Room 152.
Now in its 12th year, the Kerouac Festival takes place annually between New York; Vigo, Spain; and Mexico City. It is organized by Poetryfighters, a group dedicated to using poetry to promote communities around the world. De la Fuente contributes with poems in both Galician and Spanish.
