SU Faculty Discuss Reproductive Rights After Roe v. Wade

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Adventures in Ideas: Humanities Seminar Series continues with a look at recent legal changes to reproductive rights during the presentation “Global Perspectives on Reproductive Rights, Before and After Roe v. Wade” 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 15, in Conway Hall Room 179.

The recent U.S. Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade has sent shockwaves throughout the nation. Drs. Kara French and Kristen Walton of the SU History Department and Kaynabess Freda of the School of Nursing discuss the history of reproductive rights in the U.S. and Europe, as well as insights from the health care field.
