SU Campus Closing at 3 p.m.

Salisbury University will close today, Tuesday, January 9, at 3 p.m. due to the pending storm. The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning from 4 p.m. this afternoon to 4 a.m. Wednesday. Winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph are expected.

Classes 
Any in-person classes on campus at 3 p.m. or later are cancelled. Classes scheduled to meet remotely will do so.
 
Employees 
Essential employees should contact their supervisors to determine whether they should report to work. The University anticipates to operate on a normal schedule tomorrow, January 10, any additional closures or delays will be announced then.  
  
Time Reporting
Once the campus has re-opened, the Human Resources Office will distribute detailed information for recording time during the campus closures.

Members of the campus community are encouraged to check e-mail, the SU website and SU social media pages, as well as local media for updates, including Wednesday hours.
