SU Business Students Connect with Top Firms During Inaugural Finance Career Day

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Franklin P. Perdue School of Business recently held its inaugural Finance Career Day.

Sponsored by SU’s Finance Department in partnership with the SU Career Services Office’s annual Meet the Firms career fair, the event provided networking opportunities with SU business students and finance firm  representatives, including SU alumni. 

This year’s theme of “Invest in Yourself” centered on internships and careers in wealth advising, financial planning, business valuation, consulting and risk management. 

Each guest gave a presentation of their respective firm, discussed career progression and answered audience questions. This and future SU Finance Department career events aim to expose students to high paying  careers in finance and building successful professional futures. 

Firms in attendance included Comprehensive Financial Solutions (CFS), Inc.; InFocus Financial Advisors, Inc.; Janney Montgomery Scott; PKS Investment Advisors, LLC.; Clifton Larson Allen (CLA); Ellin and Tucker; Forvis Mazars; Northwestern Mutual; and Perdue Farms.
