SU World Drum Ensemble Performs November 16

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s World Drum Ensemble performs its annual fall concert 7:30 p.m. Saturday, November 16, in the Jackson Family Auditorium of Holloway Hall.

The performance features Latin and African rhythms and classic songs from the 1970s, ’80s and ’90s. The ensemble features Afrobeat, steel drums and the balafon, which is the African marimba. Performances include songs by the Doobie Brothers, Santana, Babatunde Olatunji, Fela Kuti, Mongo Santamariá, Bob Marley, and Blood, Sweat & Tears.

Tickets are $10, $8 for alumni and $5 for seniors. Faculty, staff and students are free but tickets are required. Tickets are available through SU’s online box office.

Those planning to park on campus must register in advance for a free parking pass.
