SU Hosts Latin American, Latinx Symposium December 7

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University hosts its annual Latin American and Latinx Symposium 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, December 7, in the Atrium and Bennett Family Auditorium of Perdue Hall.
Conducted in Spanish and English, the symposium features students’ research and creative projects on cultural expressions in different formats, including posters, digital flipbooks, and pre-recorded and in-person presentations dedicated to the literature, food and cinema in the Spanish-speaking world.
The event fosters critical views on marginalization in the Spanish-speaking world in connection with contemporary events. A conversation with attendees follows.
Sponsored by Fulton Public Humanities and Modern Languages and Intercultural Studies Department, admission is free and the public is invited.
