SU SGA Celebrates Earth Week April 22-26

SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury University Student Government Association (SGA) celebrates Earth Week with events on campus Monday-Friday, April 22-26.
Activities include:
- Monday, April 22, noon-3 p.m., Quad – “Come Get Your Pot”: Free potted flowers will be available for students.
- Tuesday, April 23, 6-8 p.m., Henson Science Hall Room 108 – “Discuss and Decorate”: Students learn about environmental topics while decorating reusable products.
- Wednesday, April 24, noon-3 p.m., Quad – “We Bought a Zoo”: Students may visit and pet farm animals including alpacas, cows, goats and sheep.
- Thursday, April 25, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., The Square – SGA and Environmental Student Association Thrift Market: Student organizations and small business owners sell and trade items including clothing, accessories, hand-made jewelry, art and room décor.
- Friday, April 21, noon-4 p.m., The Square – Recycle Madness: Student organizations compete to see which can bring in the most recyclables by weight. Individual and group prizes will be awarded. SU’s Student United Way will have a shred truck available, where paper may be shredded for a small fee.
