SU, UMBC Percussion Ensembles Perform 'Friday Drums'

SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury University and University of Maryland, Baltimore County percussion ensembles join forces for their annual “Friday Drums” program 2 p.m. Friday, April 12, in Fulton Hall Room 112 at SU.

The SU Percussion Ensemble, under director Eric Shuster, perform works by Eugene Novotney, Brian Bell, Colin McPhee, and Jlin. The UMBC Percussion Ensemble, under director Dustin Donohue, perform works by Henry Cowell, Andrea Venet, William Russell, and Julius Eastman. The ensembles will come together on a work by John Cage.

Admission is free and the public is invited. For more information call 410-543-6228.
