Exhibit Showcases 19th-Century Black Populations on Delmarva

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Edward H. Nabb Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture hosts the exhibition “Enduring Connections, Enduring Legacies: Black Histories on Delmarva in the Late 19th Century” beginning Monday, August 26, in the Patricia A. Guerrieri Academic Commons First-Floor Lobby.

Visitors explore the histories of Black individuals and families on Delmarva during the late 19th century, a crucial time of transition. This exhibit showcases some of the records and stories that can be found on the Nabb Center’s digital history project Enduring Connections: Exploring Delmarva’s Black History.

Admission is free and the public is invited. Those planning to park on campus must register in advance for a free parking pass.
