Omari Banks Concert at SU September 19
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University hosts a concert by Caribbean musician Omari Banks 7:30 p.m. Thursday, September 19, in the Jackson Family Auditorium of Holloway Hall.
Banks also presents a talk on the African Diaspora in the Caribbean at noon Friday, September 20, in Perdue Hall Room 348.
From the island of Anguilla, in the Caribbean, Banks and his band play a fusion of traditional Jamaican Reggae accentuated with Rock and Blues backbeats.
Sponsored by the Office of Cultural Affairs, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, SU President Emerita Janet Dudley-Eshbach, the Office of the President, and the Fulton School of Liberal Arts, admission is free and the public is invited.
Those planning to park on campus must register in advance for a free parking pass.
