SU Hosts 'Music Major for a Day'
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Peter and Judy Jackson Music Program gives high school students the opportunity to see what a day in the life of a music major might look like through its “Music Major for a Day” program Tuesday, October 1.
Attendees sit in on classes, watch current music majors perform and attend ensemble rehearsals to learn what collegiate-level music programs are all about. Students tour SU’s campus, meet with faculty and eat lunch in the campus dining hall with SU students.
The Jackson Music Program offers majors in liberal arts music, instrumental performance, vocal performance, music education and music technology.
Participation is free, but registration is required. For more information or to register, call 410-543-6385 or email Brooke Church.
Those planning to park on campus must register in advance for a free parking pass at http://webapps.salisbury.edu/parking/visitor/.
