Bosserman Center Hosts 'Season for Non-Violence' Featuring Members of the Gandhi, King Families January 30

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Bosserman Center for Conflict Resolution recognizes the beginning of the “Season for Non-Violence” with a presentation featuring members of the Gandhi and King families 6 p.m. Thursday, January 30 in the Guerrieri Academic Commons Assembly Hall.
The panel discussion with Tushar Gandhi, great-grandson of Mohandas Gandhi; Joel King, cousin of Martin Luther King Jr.; Greg Foster, cousin of Coretta Scott King; and Dr. Brian Polkinghorn, Executive Director of the Bosserman Center, features discussion focused on non-violent means of change in the modern world.
The “Season for Non-Violence” is an annual event celebrating the philosophies and lives of Mohandas Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr., beginning on the anniversary of the assassination of Gandhi on January 30 and ending on the April 4, the anniversary of the assassination of King.
Admission is free and the public is invited.
Those planning to park on campus must register in advance for a free parking pass.
