SALISBURY, MD---Museum of Eastern Shore Culture (MESC) at Salisbury University hosts Patrick Henry’s exhibit “Reflections on Home” Friday, January 17-Friday, April 11.

A reception commemorating the opening of the exhibit is 5-7 p.m. Friday, January 17. An artist talk with Patrick Henry is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 22.

Henry is a local artist who gained a reputation as one of the Shore’s most influential artists. Born and raised just west of Ocean City, the natural backdrop of land and sea fueled his curious nature as a child. As an astute observer, he honed in on the intimate corners of this personal experience in relationship to the natural world. Decades later, his most recent series of paintings seeks to capture the romantic and nostalgic essence of a life spent navigating this landscape through where his spirit has taken him.

Admission to the exhibition, opening and artist talk are free and the public is invited.
