3rd Annual Web Institute Conference at SU July 14-16

SALISBURY, MD -- The 3rd Annual Web Institute Conference "Tables of Content: Serving Up Information" is being offered by Salisbury University July 14-16, 2002 (Sunday evening-Tuesday afternoon) in Salisbury, Maryland. Cost for this event is $100 (not including hotel and transportation).

The conference is open to Web professionals including designers, developers, database programmers, multimedia/instructional designers, content managers and CIOs.

"Managing (dis)Content: Taking Your Site To the Next Level" is being delivered by keynote speaker Sean Carton of Carton Donofrio Partners in Baltimore. Apple Computer is giving the Tuesday morning presentation, "Mac OS X: Simplicity of the Macintosh, and the Power of Unix."

The conference seminars include: Databases and ASP, Copyright & Plagiarism, Using Interactive Marketing Techniques to Increase User Conversion, Dynamic Content & Personalization, Choosing a Content Management System, CSS, and E-commerce Solutions.

There is also a special FREE post-conference seminar on Tuesday, July 16, from 1:30-4:30 p.m. titled "Universal Design and Accessible Internet Services: Law and Policy for Higher Education." This requires a separate registration.

A Welcoming Reception will be held Sunday evening at Brew River Restaurant in Salisbury, MD followed by a traditional crab feast dinner at the Red Roost on Monday evening.
