Abolition of Death Penalty Subject of March 5 Lecture

SALISBURY, MD--Cathy Knepper, coordinator for the Maryland State Death Penalty Abolition, discusses the issues, legislation and controversy surrounding this sensitive subject, on Monday, March 5, at 7 p.m. in the Wicomico Room of the Guerrieri University Center at Salisbury State University. A question and answer session follows.  Admission is free and the public is invited. 

Knepper examines the death penalty in the United States and aboard, and how lawmakers are dealing with it.

The lecture is sponsored by the SSU Chapter of Amnesty International, the Philosophy Department, the Green Party Club, Femineyes and the Social Action Committee of Unitarian Universalists.
