Accordionist Maric performs at SU Tuesday, February 18

SALISBURY, MD---One of the world’s most acclaimed young accordion artists, Petar Maric, performs at Salisbury University 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.

Born in 1990 in Serbia, he studied at Belgrade State Music Conservatory Vuckovic before continuing his training in France. He has performed throughout Europe and parts of Asia, winning international competitions in Germany and Italy. He also has received the Belgrade Ministry of Culture’s prestigious “Belgrade Angel” award for his contribution to cultural life.
