Award-winning poet Jeffrey Skinner at SU November 25

SALISBURY, MD ---As part of its Writers-on-the-Shore series, Salisbury University's Department of English presents poet and author Jeffrey Skinner on Monday, November 25, at 8 p.m. in the Commons, Montgomery Room.

The author of four award-winning volumes of poetry (Late Stars, A Guide to Forgetting, The Company of Heaven, and Gender Studies), Skinner has been Poet-in Residence at The Frost Place and the James Merrill House. When not residing in the homes of dead poets, he teaches at the University of Louisville. His poems have appeared in The New Yorker, The Atlantic, The Yale Review and numerous other publications.
