Balish Continues Guitar in the Gallery Series Tuesday, April 1

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Guitar in the Gallery series continues 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, in the University Gallery of Fulton Hall with classical guitarist Jason Balish.

A 2012 SU graduate, Balish is pursuing a master of Music in guitar performance at the Manhattan School of Music. He participated in the 2011 International Guitar Symposium Iserlohn, Germany, performing in master classes with celebrated guitarists Thomas Kirchhoff, Michael Newman, Gerald Garcia and Hans-Werner Huppertz. At SU, he played in the Guitar Ensemble, premiering new works by composers Robert A. Baker and Jerry Tabor.
