class=""MsoNormal"">He speaks on “Debating Dogma, Rhetorically Speaking:  Spenser’s Despayre and Milton’s Own ‘Man of Hell.’” The talk focuses on the use of specific rhetorical devices by diabolical orators (Belial and others) to manipulate the thoughts and behaviors of their otherwise pious victims others in literature and film.
