Brown Bag Lunch Discussion Series begins February 7

SALISBURY, MD ----Salisbury University presents the kick-off event for its Brown Bag Lunch Discussion Series at noon on Friday, February 7, with "A Comparison and Discussion of the Philosophies of W.E.B. DuBois and Booker T. Washington" by the Rev. Benjamin Jordan Jr. The public is invited to bring lunch to Nanticoke Room A in the Guerrieri University Center.

Jordan is director of youth programs at Berean Baptist Church in Washington D.C. Also an education policy analyst for the U.S. General Accounting Office, he received his B.A. in Political Science from Central State University in Wilberforce, OH, and his Master of Divinity from Howard University. For the past 15 years, Jordan has appeared around the country speaking on such topics as minorities and postsecondary education, civil rights, cultural diversity, the African presence in the Hebrew Bible and African-American history.
