Business & Professional Women Harbourtowne Golf Resort

SALISBURY, MD--- The Business and Professional Womens’ state winter board begins on Friday, January 25, at 6 p.m. at the Harbourtowne Golf Resort and Conference Center in St. Michaels. The seminar, which begins with a light buffet dinner at 6 p.m., features two workshops from 7-9 p.m.

The first workshop “Maryland Small Business Awards Program,” conducted by Stan Karwack and Richael Howard from the U.S. Small Business Administration, demonstrates how a business can use the awards program to get free publicity and increase sales. In addition, Pat Dean of the Caroline County BPW, shares how she profited from winning the SBA Advocate of the Year award.

The second workshop “The Power of Networking,” conducted by Regina Forte, senior financial and investment advisor with Harvest Investment Consultants, Inc., is an interactive workshop demonstrating how businesses can profit from efficient networking.

Sponsored by the Business and Profession Women, the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Maryland Small Business Development Center Network-Eastern Region and Salisbury University, the fee for the buffet is $20.
