Child Care Resource/Referral Center Receives Grant 

SALISBURY, MD---The Department of Social Work at Salisbury  University recently received $780,474 from the Maryland Committee for Children for continued support of the Lower Eastern Shore Regional Child Care Resource and Referral Center in Salisbury, one of 13 regional child care resource centers throughout Maryland.

"The Child Care Resource and Referral Center provides resources to families, employees and child care providers in Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester counties,” said Dr. Marvin Tossey, project director and SU Social Work Department chair. The Resource and Referral Child Care Center works closely with the Maryland Office of Child Care Administration and Wor-Wic Community College in an effort to expand and enhance the child care service delivery system.
