Dan Marder's "Of Liquid and Light" opens January 10

SALISBURY, MD ----Salisbury University presents "Of Liquid and Light," an exhibit of hand blown and drawn glass by sculptor Dan Marder of the Department of Art, from Friday, January 10-Friday, February 14, in the Fulton Gallery. A reception is Friday, February 7, from 6-8 p.m.

Marder said, "This installation is intuitive in nature and process-driven, though it contains visual representations of my experience and a change in perception I've undergone since living in a coastal region." This is Marder's second solo exhibit in three months. He founded SU's hot glass studio in 1998.

"Of Liquid and Light" is sponsored by the Office of Cultural Affairs and Museum Programs and is free and open to the public. Fulton Gallery hours are: Tuesdays through Fridays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and, beginning February 1, Saturdays-Sundays, noon-4 p.m.
