Eight-Week Business Course Scheduled at SU
SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) co-sponsors an eight-week “Starting and Managing a Small Business” seminar at SU on consecutive Wednesdays from January 21-March 10.
The course is held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Power Professional Building, Room 220, on Power Street. Topics include start-up and operating procedures, ownership forms of operation, sources and methods of financing, recordkeeping, communications, debt collection, personnel, merchandising and business continuity. Instructors discuss overcoming problems and pitfalls frequently encountered in running small businesses.
Cost is $93 per person. The SBDC, Wor-Wic Community College and Maryland Capital Enterprises Inc. sponsor the seminars. The program is an extended version of the SBDC’s monthly “How to Start and Manage Your Own Business” course.
