Faculty, Alumni Join for Homecoming Recital October 1
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University music alumni join Music, Theatre and Dance Department faculty for a Homecoming recital 7:30 p.m. Saturday, October 1, in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.
The diverse program includes selections from Ewazen’s An Elizabethan Songbook, Saint-Saëns’ “Danse Macabre,” Lane’s “Hurry, It’s Lovely Up Here” from On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, “Duet for Two Cellos,” Villa-Lobos’ “Aria (Cantilena) from Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5,” Musto’s Shadow of the Blues, Gottry’s “Wood, Metal, Skin,” spirituals “Amazing Grace” and “The Water is Wide,” and “When the Children are Asleep” from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel.
Featured alumni include Madeleine Clifton, Tom Davis, Caitlin Howard, Meredith Jones, Amy Morgan, Meghan Rollyson and Thomas Simpson. Faculty include Drs. Louise Anderson, Linda Cockey, Danielle Cumming, William Folger, Jeffrey Schoyen and John Wesley Wright, and Lee Knier and Eric Shuster.
