Fifth Annual Wordstock Scheduled Thursday, April 25
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University celebrates words — spoken, written, sung, rapped, enacted and even chanted — during its fifth annual Wordstock Thursday, April 25.
Participants are invited to share their own works or interpretations of others’ beneath the Wordstock tent on Fulton Hall Lawn from 2-6 p.m. during an afternoon of tie-dye, guitars and peace signs. Those wishing to participate should RSVP with Nancy Mitchell of the SU English Department at nxmitchell@salisbury.edu before Monday, April 15.
Directed by Mitchell, creative writing students and the Scarab literary magazine editorial board host this event, sponsored by the Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts. Admission is free and the public is invited.
