FunDay Quilt on Display Through May 3"  

SALISBURY, MD---As part of Multicultural Festival Week at Salisbury State University, the 84" x 60" FUNday quilt is on display at the entrance to the Guerrieri University Center. The quilt is on display through Thursday, May 3. 

During FUNday, area children designed squares, which were incorporated into the quilt. 

The Lydia Quilting Guild then sewed the squares together. Quliters used the school colors--maroon and gold--for the sashing. 

“Its nice to share my love of quilting with other people,” said Kaaren Kundell, who organized the quilting event. “The event showed that there are people who appreciate quilting and the art that it is.”
