Gospel Choir Performance November 10

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University's Gospel Choir sponsors University Night with performances by gospel choirs from both the Western and Eastern Shores on Saturday, November 10.  In the Wicomico Room of the Guerrieri University Center off Dogwood Drive, the concert is from 6:30-8:30 p.m.  Admission is free and the public is cordially invited.

This is the first University Night of gospel performances at the campus in several years, said Cheryl Fenderson, president of the SU organization.  Besides students from SU, the Towson University Gospel Choir sings.  Also invited is the Unified Voices Under God's Dominion at Frostburg State University.

The SU Gospel Choir was also part of Delaware State University's Midnight Musical on Friday, October 26.

Musical Director Marlette Dixon, an SU alumna, leads the 20-member SU choir, with accompaniment by Marcus McBride and Carlos Dashiel. For information contact choir advisor Deborah Johnson at the University Book Store at 410-543-6085 or visit the University Web site at www.salisbury.edu.
