Introduction to World Trade Workshops June 4-6 at SU
SALISBURY, MD -- "Introduction to World Trade," a series of workshops by the World Trade Center Institute to assist companies of all sizes to begin or expand their international division, is June 4-6 at Salisbury University. Coordinated by the Maryland Small Business Development Center Network - Eastern Region, Salisbury University and Loyola College, the workshops are in Caruthers Hall Room 112 on the SU campus.
"Introduction of World Trade" is designed for businesses that are ready to grow, increase their product's life cycle and expand their customer base by looking for business opportunities beyond the U.S. borders. Companies that are considering "going global" don't need to go it alone. The World Trade Center Institute has helped hundreds of companies with their import and export programs through its world trade workshops.
On Tuesday, June 4, "Workshop I: Developing Your International Business Plan" is from 8:30-11:30 a.m.; and "Workshop II Smoothing the Import Process: Customs Best Practices" is from noon-3 p.m.
On Wednesday, June 5, "Workshop III: Getting Paid for Your International Transactions" is from 8:30-11:30 a.m.; and "Workshop IV: Successful Approaches to International Marketing" is from noon-3 p.m.
On Thursday, June 6, "Workshop V: Managing Export Operations" is from 8:30-11:30 a.m.; and "Workshop VI: Legal Issues in World Trade" is from noon-3:15 p.m.
Cost is $50 per workshop for World Trade Institute members, $75 for non-members. Cost to attend all of the workshops is $250 for WTI members, $375 for non-members.
