class=""MsoNormal"">SALISBURY, MD---Department of Music faculty members Chad Jones and Derek Bowden perform a three-part concert 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, in The Great Hall of Holloway Hall.
class=""MsoNormal"">Jones and Bowden will perform the modern minimalistic music of Arvo Part, Hovhaness, Howard Hanson and others. Jones plays guitar and cello while Bowden plays piano and keyboard.
class=""MsoNormal"">During part one, the duo performs Fur Alina and Sonata, op. 36, no. 1. Part two consists of Reminiscence from Three Miniatures, Suite Compostelana – “Coral,” “Lullaby” and Suite Compostelana – “Cancion.” Part three is Pari intervallo and Sonata, op. 374.
