LSCCRC Hosts Family Concert Friday, April 1

SALISBURY, MD---The Lower Shore Child Care Resource Center (LSCCRC) at Salisbury University hosts a family concert with musician, author and early childhood education consultant Dr. Thomas Moore 7 p.m. Friday, April 1, at the James M. Bennett High School Auditorium.

The concert celebrates April as “The Month of the Young Child.” Moore has given a solo voice recital at Carnegie Recital Hall, hosted a children's television show, taught preschool, directed a children's choir, and composed two symphony pieces for children. He has been a university associate professor of early childhood education and coordinator of the North Carolina Head Start Collaboration Project. His recordings for children are used in classrooms and homes nationwide.

Admission is free and the public is invited.

An all-day conference for early educators follows on Saturday, April 2.
