Liebman, Dunn to Speak on 'Immigration, Health and Inequality' April 11

Migrant Clinicians Network logoSALISBURY, MD---Dr. Tim Dunn, professor of sociology at Salisbury University, and Amy Liebman, director of environmental and occupational health for the Migrant Clinicians Network, speak on “Immigration, Health and Inequality” 7 p.m. Monday, April 11, in Teacher Education and Technology Center Room 153.

Their presentation, hosted by the Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts Sustainability Committee, is part of this semester’s Interrogating Inequality course (IDIS 280-05).

Dunn and Liebman discuss the driving forces surrounding immigration and question the impact of policies that lead to human rights concerns and inequalities such as high rates of death and injury among immigrant workers.
