Magic Puppet Tea Party and Global Puppet Exhibit Rescheduled in April
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Magic Puppet Tea Party has been rescheduled for 5 p.m. Monday, April 16.
A global puppet exhibit follows Tuesday-Thursday, April 17-19. Both are in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall. The party and exhibit were postponed from February.
Children and adults are invited to bring their favorite puppets and stuffed animals to the tea party for a show filled with songs, dance and puppetry while sipping on tea and dining on a selection of puppet-inspired foods and desserts, including Pinocchio cookies.
Admission is $18.95 per person. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Seating is limited. Advance tickets are available at the Guerrieri Student Union Information Desk beginning Friday, March 2.
The exhibit, celebrating puppetry traditions in major cultures around the world, including Asia, Europe and the Americas, is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily. Admission is free. SU’s Cultural Affairs Office sponsors both events.
