Mathias to Keynote ShoreCorps/PALS Celebration Saturday, August 11

SALISBURY, MD---Maryland State Senator James Mathias Jr. (District 38 — Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset) keynotes ShoreCorps/PALS’ (Partnership for Adolescents on the Lower Shore) annual member recognition celebration 10 a.m. Saturday, August 11, in the Worcester Room of Salisbury University’s Commons.

Mathias is a long-term advocate of community service and volunteerism, with a strong background in both.

Members of ShoreCorps/PALS, the AmeriCorps program at SU, spend one year serving at-risk youth and adolescents in the classroom, and through school programs and non-profit agencies.
