Memorial Service Scheduled for Dr. Norman Crawford September 29

SALISBURY, MD---Community members are invited to join Salisbury University President Janet Dudley-Eshbach, the Crawford family and the campus in a celebration of life for Dr. Norman Crawford, fifth president of SU, 3 p.m. Thursday, September 29, in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.

Crawford passed away in May.  He was an enthusiastic Sea Gull fan and a champion of diversity and inclusion. During his years as president from 1970-1980, he helped lay the foundation for many of the successes the campus enjoys today.

Following the service, a reception will be held in the adjacent Social Room.
