Name Change "SUlebration" September 11

SALISBURY, MD -- On July 1, 2001 Salisbury University’s name change became official. With the arrival of the fall 2001 semester a name change “SUlebration” has been planned to herald the beginning of the new year and welcome the first students to attend what is now SU.

The celebration, on Tuesday, September 11, from 7-9:30 p.m., features entertainment by Randy Lee Ashcraft & the Saltwater Cowboys, the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra and a light show by SU’s Tony Broadbent and Event Services Office.

Held on the lawn of Holloway Hall, the “SUlebration”  is free and open to the public. Bring your blankets and/or lawn chairs, have some popcorn, cotton candy, get an SUtattoo  and join Salisbury University on this historic occasion.
