Outdoor Club Cleans Up Tony Tank Creek Bridges"  

SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury State University Outdoors Club recently removed one pick up truckload of garbage from the bridges on Tony Tank Creek

Dr. William Horne, SSU English professor and club advisor, worked with several students in the cleanup. Club members included Kelly Crouch, DeAnna Felix, Erik Pfleiderer, Annie De Treville and Kevin Birch, SSU history professor.

The Outdoors Club promotes appreciation for the environment by planning activities such as hiking, camping and canoeing. The group also sponsors guest speakers and wilderness clinics.
