Ponce Reading Rescheduled to February 24

SALISBURY, MD---The Writers on the Shore reading by author Pedro Ponce scheduled Wednesday, February 17, at Salisbury University, has been postponed to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, in the Worcester Room of the Commons.

Ponce is the author of Stories After Goya and Superstitions of Apartment Life, winner of Burnside Review’s 2008 fiction chapbook contest. He is currently working on the dystopian noir novel Dreamland, excerpts from which have appeared in the online journal Transmission.

His fiction also has been published in Ploughshares, Copper Nickel, A cappella Zoo, Ecotone and Witness, among other journals. His work has been anthologized in The Beacon Best of 2001, Sudden Fiction Latino and DIAGRAM: The Second Print Anthology.

A 2012 National Endowment for the Arts fellow in creative writing, he teaches writing and literary theory at St. Lawrence University.
