President Dudley-Eshbach Named Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce Business Professional of the Year
SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce recently recognized Salisbury University President Janet Dudley-Eshbach as its 2018 Business Professional of the Year.
The award is presented annually to a successful business leader who has made a significant impact on the community.
Under Dudley-Esbach’s 18-year tenure, the University has grown in size, stature and reputation, with an estimated regional economic impact of nearly half a billion dollars annually. It also is one of Wicomico County’s largest employers.
Dudley-Eshbach received a standing ovation from the chamber audience. Presenting the award was Dr. Memo Diriker, past chamber president and director of SU’s Business, Economic and Community Outreach Network (BEACON).
