Presto Preparatory School of Music at SU Offers Instrument Instruction
SALISBURY, MD---Want to learn to play a musical instrument? Salisbury University can help.
Presto, the Preparatory School of Music at SU, is seeking students for its inaugural sessions this fall, beginning Tuesday, September 13. Private and group instruction is available in strings (violin, viola, cello and bass) and piano. Group lessons in violin and piano also are available.
Students participate in 12 weekly sessions each semester. Cost for private lessons range from $295 per semester for 30 minutes to $595 for an hour. Half-hour sessions with student teachers are available for $216 per semester. Group lessons, scheduled at 45 minutes each with a minimum of three participants, cost $216 per semester.
Group lesson times are 5 p.m. Tuesdays and 10 a.m. Saturdays for piano, and 5 p.m. Tuesdays and 11 a.m. Saturdays for violin. Private lessons are offered on Tuesday afternoons or Saturday mornings. Except for piano, students are required to bring their own instruments.
