SBDC Bilingual Workshops to be Held June 10
SALISBURY, MD -- The Maryland Small Business Development Network and the Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce present a series of bilingual workshops on the applications of computers in the workplace and on the World Wide Web in today's business environment.
The workshops are on Monday, June 10, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Salisbury University SBDC offices on Power St. Presenter is Gigi Guzman, president of GITECH, Inc.
The workshops explore computer applications in everyday business for the small entrepreneur and demonstrate various approaches for harnessing the power of the Web. The presentation is presented in Spanish and English.
Topics covered include: "Computers in Everyday Business," "Operations: From Correspondence to Accounting," "Marketing: From Brochures to e-Publishing," "Computers on the Internet," "eCommerce: On the Internet and the World Wide Web," "eBusiness: Your Web Site as a Strategic Business Tool" and "Web Site Examples."
