SGA Hosts Homecoming Week October 8-13

SALISBURY, MD---From a pep rally and cookout to a wing-eating contest and battle of the bands, Salisbury University’s Student Government Association rallies the campus for Homecoming during Homecoming Week, October 8-13.

Events begin 7:30 p.m. Monday, October 8, with a pep rally in Maggs Gym. A sponge dodgeball tournament takes place 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, on the Henson Science Hall Mall. A cookout for SU students is 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, at Sea Gull Square.

The annual Homecoming Week wing eating contest is 5 p.m. Thursday, October 11, in Red Square, following a Battle of the Bands at 6 p.m.

A Homecoming pageant is 7 p.m. Friday, October 12, in Holloway Hall Auditorium.

Homecoming Week culminates with the SGA’s annual Homecoming block party, with inflatables provided by the Student Organization for Activity Planning, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, October 13, at the Intramural Fields.
