SU Annual Variety Show April 12-13

SALISBURY, MD -- The 13th annual Salisbury University Variety Show is Friday-Saturday, April 12-13, at 7:30 p.m. in Holloway Hall Auditorium. Also known as V13, the show features many performing styles, all performed by SU students.

Acts include music from Phantom of the Opera, and works associated with Martina McBride, Frank Sinatra, Madonna, Riverdance and many original compositions. Performing styles vary from solo vocals to Irish dancing, bands, gospel choirs and full rock ensembles. "V13 will have a great variety of acts-something for everybody," said producer and SU events director Tony Broadbent. "The evening will have a few repeat performers from past variety shows and many new acts. In between the masters and mistresses of ceremonies along with a pit band will entertain."

The performances start at 7:30 p.m. General admission tickets are $5 each and current SU ID card holders receive one ticket free. Advance tickets are available in the Event Services Office, Room 242A of the Guerrieri University Center.

A free fun prize is given to the first 100 people who get tickets. Remaining tickets will be sold at the door. For more information, call the Salisbury University Event Services Office at 410-548-4597 or visit the SU Web site at www.salisbury.edu.
