SU Chorale Spring Concert Scheduled Sunday, April 25

SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury University Chorale presents its annual spring concert 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 25, at Asbury United Methodist Church. Conducted by Dr. William M. Folger, director of choral activities, the chorale performs selections ranging from modern pieces including Englebert Humperdinck’s Prayer from ‘Hansel and Gretel’ to classics including Thomas Morley’s April is in My Mistress’ Face and Now is the Month of Maying. Other works in the chorale’s repertoire include Lasso’s O occhi manza mia, Palestrina’s Sicut cervus, Duruflé’s Quatre Motets Op. 10, Peeters’ Te Deum, Schumann’s Zigeunerleben, Toch’s Geographical Fugue, Scott’s A Welsh Lullaby and All Through the Night, Hogan’s Steal Away, and Ezekiel Saw de Wheel, arranged by William L.
