SU Poms to Perform with Redskins Cheerleaders Sunday, October 16

SALISBURY, MD---The SU Poms Dance Team is going to the big leagues — literally.

Members of the team will be part of some 300 cheerleaders and dance team members throughout the Maryland-Virginia-Washington, D.C., area joining the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders during Spirit Explosion Day at FedEx Field in Landover, MD. They perform at halftime on Sunday, October 16, as the Redskins take on the Philadelphia Eagles. The crowd for the game is expected to be among the largest in the NFL this season.

“We are so excited to be a part of this event,” said Jade Gonzalez, president of the SU Poms. “This is a great opportunity to work with the pros, and getting to share the experience with hundreds of other like-minded dancers and cheerleaders makes it even better.”
