SU Senior Graphic Design Show Scheduled November 25-December 11

SU Art Department SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury University Art Department presents its 49th biannual Senior Art Shows November 6-December 11 in the University Gallery of Fulton Hall.

Fine arts students showcase their work November 6-19. A reception and President’s Awards ceremony is 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 15. The exhibition focuses on a variety of media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, glass, ceramics, photography, new media and installation.

Works by graphic design students are on display November 25-December 11. A reception and award ceremony is 6-8 p.m. Friday, December 6.

Visiting artist Kimberly Dow speaks 5 p.m. Thursday, December 5, in Fulton Hall Room 111. An award-winning graphic designer and SU alumna, she discusses her experience in the world of design and marketing.

Dow is the owner of Kalico Design in Frederick, MD, which focuses on projects promoting healthy lifestyles in wellness, organic, holistic and women-oriented industries. She is the former president of the Greater Frederick chapter of the American Advertising Federation. The federation, as well as Graphic Design USA Magazine, the Creativity Awards and the American Corporate ID Awards, have recognized her work.
