SU Social Work Department Workshops, April 6 and May 29
SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Social Work Department presents continuing education workshops Monday, April 6, and Friday, May 29.
The first workshop, “Adolescent Sexuality: What Roles Do Social Workers Play in this Complex Topic?” is Monday, April 6, in the Montgomery Room of the Guerrieri University Center. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. The four-hour interactive workshop, instructed by Dr. Becky Anthony, focuses on adolescent sexuality and how social workers integrate the complex topic into their work.
The next workshop, “Hoarding Disorder: A Foundation in Identification and Treatment,” is Friday, May 29, in the Worcester Room of the Guerrieri University Center. Check-in begins at 12:30 p.m. The three-and-a-half-hour workshop, instructed by Dr. Elspeth Bell, familiarizes participants with the criteria of hoarding disorder, focusing on the assessment of hoarding behaviors, and addresses the range of treatment interventions and resources available to professionals working with this population.
