SU United Way Hosts 3rd Annual 5K October 15

SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury University Student United Way hosts its third annual Halloween 5K Dash on Saturday, October 15, at SU.

Benefiting the United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore, the event begins with registration at 10 a.m. at Maggs Physical Activities Center. The race is 11 a.m., followed by a 1-mile Zombie Walk at 11:15 a.m.

Participants run through a zombie-infested course. The top two male and female finishers overall and top male and top female in each age group receive medals. All participants receive an event T-shirt, refreshments, and admission to the award ceremony and outdoor after-party, including DJ entertainment, a costume contest, refreshments, face painting and zombie photo ops.

Run registration is $10 for SU students and children ages 11-17, $15 for faculty, $25 for members of the greater community, free for children 10 and under. Walk registration is $10 for all. Advance registration is recommended. To register, visit www.unitedway4us.org/5k.
